Policies, processes & controls

policies-processes-controls-3The development of an organisational structure and assigning roles and responsibilities is a complex exercise that requires expertise to set up the correct structure from the onset.  This is needed at the inception of a business, or when an entity is in need of an overhaul, or when entities merge.

Stakeholders may not have the time or expertise to devote to the development of the entity structure.  Altimax’s team of experts will provide stakeholders with an organisational structure with roles and responsibilities assigned to the positions in the structure.

As this product is highly specialised, there is no one-size-fits-all.  Our approach is to meet with the stakeholders, analyse the context of the entity to be formed or overhauled and to obtain input from various sources to inform the proposed organisational structure based on the roles and responsibilities that need attention.

Policies establish the boundaries for acceptable behaviour and guidelines for best practice.  The policies should provide clear communication to staff as to how they are expected to act.  Policies also contribute to the overall culture of the workplace, instilling norms and values.

Our aim is to assist our clients in designing policies to support the framework of the entity and to inform the processes and procedures.  The policies are drafted against the backdrop of the strategic goals, local and international best practice and legal requirements.

We then assist our clients to review the business processes, procedures and controls in such a way that the entity can unlock the benefits of the review.  Depending on the scope of the review, we take care of primary or essential processes, support processes and / or management processes.

Our services include:

Business procedure, process and control reviews
